Cultural Etiquette in Nepal
Here are some forms of cultural etiquette in Nepal:
- Namaste is the form of greeting in morning, day and evening.
- Take off your shoes before entering to the holy sites like temples and Gumba.
- Touching something by left hand is called impure.
- Things made from leather are not allowed in the temple.
- Skirts and short clothes for women are not considered good in the rural areas.
- Permissions should be taken to take photographs in some special areas.
