Helambu Trekking in the lower part of the Langtang region of Nepal is an enchanting trek. It offers glorious Himalayan outlook, green hill, canyons, flora and fauna along with ethnic hospitality throughout the trekking. It is near to the Kathmandu valley, so the trekking is also favorable for the trekkers, who lack a lengthy time to use on trekking.

A short trek to Helambu circuit commences from Sundarijal after 40 minutes driving from central Kathmandu. The waterfalls and rich bio-diversity offer an absolute allure of the watershed area in Shivapuri National Park. Although the trek is short and less exigent, some of the passes make you tired to mount up and trek further. Tharepati Pass is an example of it. This is the route that leads you to the Himalayan frozen Lake Gosaikunda via Lauribina Pass, the Helambu circuit trek turns from Tharepati and a trek to Tarkeghyang and Sermathang. Although the Helambu region is close to the Kathmandu Valley, it is not disturbed by the current artificial development and mechanical culture, the area is rather influenced by the Tibetan way of living and celebrating festivals. The trekkers who have a high altitude problem can get outstanding experiences to observe the mighty Langtang range as Mt. Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lhakpa of the Everest region and some of the Tibetan Peaks.

Vertex Holiday offers a brilliant and comparatively short trek to the Helambu circuit. We recommend this trekking for family trips and limited time trekkers. For more details, please, feel free to contact us.
